Designers
Husband & wife designers, Kenneth Park and Carla Hwang met each other in their senior year at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
Park majored in fine art, and Hwang majored in fashion design. After graduating from the school, they launched a partnership named VWIDON
which was followed by their first bridal collection in 2001.

While Kenneth Park and Carla Hwang believe it is important to get inspiration not only from the work of legendary fashion designers but from
various sources such as paintings, films, contemporary visual art, and music, the best inspiration among all is independent, chic brides
of our time who never fail to let them be able to create each season's collection with a great enthusiasm. Park and Hwang would also not forget
one of the fundamentals of designing a dress, precision of style and proportion, as Christian Dior once said, "The dress is an ephemeral piece of
architecture designed to enhance the proportions of the female body." Park loves to work intensively on patterning to create sculptural construction
with exquisite silhouette, as Hwang loves a refined glamour that is created with proportionately measured drapes and details.

To Park and Hwang, designing a wedding dress is not just to satisfy their own creative sides. They know a design should create the look of a bride,
and blend into the style of a bride. "Designing dresses and creating each season's collection can sometimes be complicated, but when it comes to
wedding dress itself, it should be loved and worn by a bride with a maximum joy on her wedding day. It should be that simple," says Park.
